2019 - 2022 Transportation Improvement Program

This is an image of a highway in DFW area as a cover page for the Transportation Improvement program for North Central Texas 2019-2022Within metropolitan areas across the country, regional transportation projects are tracked through Transportation Improvement Programs. The Transportation Improvement Program or TIP is a staged, multi-year program of projects approved for funding by federal, state, and local sources within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The TIP contains projects with committed funds in fiscal years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Project listings are financially constrained to available resources.

Every two years, the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), in cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), local governments, and transportation agencies, develops a new TIP. The Regional Transportation Council approved the 2019-2022 TIP on May 10, 2018.
