Regional Planning & Projects

The North Central Texas Council of Governments helps plan several different modes of transportation for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With more than 7 million people residing in North Texas and the population expected to be over 11 million in 2045, plans for innovative mobility solutions begin today.

By coordinating with local governments, transportation partners, government agencies, nonprofits, the private sector and the public, NCTCOG helps lead efforts to build and maintain an integrated regional transportation system for all North Texans. Take a look below to see what we've been working on.
