(Also known as the 2022 Limited Access Facilities Survey)

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) are sponsoring a survey of the users of select toll roads, managed-lanes, and freeways in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region.  The survey will be conducted by ETC Institute from January to February 2022 and will collect the trip characteristics and traveler choice behavior.  The results will be used to improve the traffic conditions in the DFW region.  

Randomly selected residents in the DFW region will receive the survey invitation in the form of a postcard, text, and/or email.

1. Postcard.  Postcards will be mailed to randomly selected households.  An example of the postcard is provided below.  
2. Text.  Text messages will be sent to cell phones of the randomly selected households.
3. Email.  An email will be sent to email addresses of the randomly selected households.

The respondents may complete the survey on a smartphone, a computer, or printed form.  Participation is optional.  The private information in the completed surveys will be kept confidential.
