The West Rosedale Magnolia Green Sustainable Development infrastructure project is located on West Rosedale Street between Lipscomb Street and South Jennings Street in Fort Worth’s Near Southside District. The overall project area includes townhomes, a medical building, and the Moncrief Cancer Center. Additional land uses include retail, residential, and office. The West Rosedale improvements serve the region just north of the Fairmount-Southside Historic District.
The project was funded to enhance the walking environment along West Rosedale Street and encourage pedestrian activity around the Midtown, Oleander Walk, Samaritan House, and Magnolia Green projects. Infrastructure improvements include landscaping, water run-off prevention, improved street medians, and pedestrian connectivity.
The project cost of $375,000 was funded through public-private partnerships.
