2021 - 2024 Transportation Improvement Program

2021-2024 TIPWithin metropolitan areas across the country, regional transportation projects are tracked through Transportation Improvement Programs. The Transportation Improvement Program or TIP is a staged, multi-year program of projects approved for funding by federal, state, and local sources within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The TIP contains projects with committed funds in fiscal years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Project listings are financially constrained to available resources.

Every two years, the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), in cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), local governments, and transportation agencies, develops a new TIP. The Regional Transportation Council approved the 2021-2024 TIP on June 11, 2020.
