North Central Texas Regional Vanpool Program

Van used as a part of the regional vanpool program

The North Central Texas Regional Vanpool Program is operated by Trinity Metro and Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA). The transit agency is selected based on where the trip originates and can travel across the region. Riders can choose the vehicle that best suits the group's needs, with some vehicles seating as many as 15 people. There are many benefits to vanpool, including less wear and tear on personal vehicles, less stressful commutes, and rider vehicle subsidies from the Regional Transportation Council (RTC). The subsidies help reduce total costs associated with leasing the vehicle. See below to identify the appropriate agency serving your county.

The Trinity Metro  vanpool service area encompasses the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Erath, Hood, Johnson, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise. Trinity Metro vanpools originating in Wise county may travel throughout DFW excluding Denton County.
