Dallas - Fiji/Compton Mixed-Use Development

The Fiji/Compton Sustainable Development Project is an affordable senior housing and mixed-use development site along DART’s Blue and Red Lines within a quarter mile of both Corinth and Morrell Stations, located south of Downtown Dallas and east of the Bishop-Arts District. At the completion of all phases, the project is planned to add approximately 200 residential units, 18,000 sq. ft. of office space, and 39,000 sq. ft. of retail space.
This project is located half a mile from Moore Park to the east and Cedar Creek to the west. There is also a planned regional Veloweb trail connection, which will connect the development to Moore Park and both of the local DART Stations as well.
The 2005-2006 Sustainable Development Call for Projects funded construction, pedestrian amenities, and landscaping to support the infill development.
The total project cost of $3,514,983 was funded through public-private partnerships.
