Regional Electronics Recycling Contract
In 2019, NCTCOG released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit vendors that could provide electronics recycling services to the region. Three companies (Electronic Recyclers International, United Electronic Recycling, and Universal Recycling Technologies) were awarded a Master Services Agreement to provide electronics recycling so that communities can take advantage of competitive pricing on a cooperative contract that has been vetted through NCTCOG. The three vendors collectively provide services for the following scenarios: permanent facilities, one-day events, drop-off of recyclables by a community at the vendor’s facility, and asset disposition. These contracts are in effect for an initial period ending January 1, 2021, with three automatic one-year renewals. Pricing sheets and master services agreement documents are provided below.
