Solar Mapping Potential

Solar Mapping Potential is solar mapping the urban environment using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  It can provide a powerful tool for urban planning, policy analysis and promotion of clean and renewable technologies.   Using Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data, vendor will assess photovoltaic (PV) potential of buildings.  This method enables the analysis of roofs according to their slope, azimuth, and shaded areas.
