Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP)

Overview
The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides funding to strengthen the security of nonprofit organizations, which are deemed at high-risk of potential terrorist attacks and are located within the Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington (DFWA) Urban Area (UA). The DFWA UA includes the three core cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington and the contiguous supporting counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant.

Purpose
NSGP provides funding support for target-hardening activities to nonprofit organizations that are deemed at high risk of a potential terrorist attack. While this funding is provided specifically to high-risk nonprofit organizations, the program seeks to integrate nonprofit preparedness activities with broader state and local preparedness efforts.
