Health
We provide an outstanding package of health and life benefits for employees, with coverage available for their families. We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as basic and optional life, long term disability, and flexible spending accounts. Our full-time employee health coverage is paid for 100% and competitive cost sharing is available for spouse, dependent, and family coverage. Part time employees working 20-29 hours pay 25% of their premium and those working 30-39 hours pay 10% of the employee premium. Medical employee only coverage is also available for interns working 30 or more hours per week.

Retirement
Retirement concerns can be on your mind at any age. Benefits at NCTCOG help you to build a solid financial future. All employees are eligible to participate in the ICMA Retirement Corp. Roth IRA plan and 457 Deferred Compensation Plan and have the option for Managed Accounts. Full time and part time employees working over 30 hours per week participate in the 401(a) retirement plan offered through ICMA by payroll deduction with employer match. Part time employees working less than 30 hours per week and all interns participate in a 457 deferred compensation plan with employer match. ICMA also offers the advantage of managed accounts, which will take into account your personal retirement goals and help you determine the best path for your journey to a secure retirement.
