Public Works Construction Standards Subcommittee

The North Central Texas Council of Governments and the Public Works Council have completed the update to the Public Works Construction Standards – North Central Texas, 2004 Version. The Public Works Council formed the Public Works Construction Standards Subcommittee (PWCSS) and Review Groups to work with NCTCOG staff and provide direction and expertise on the Fifth Edition update to the Public Works Construction Standards, 2004 Version. The PWCSS and Review Groups were comprised of individuals representing the public and private engineering and public works sectors. The PWCSS worked with NCTCOG staff to review the Technical Review Groups' recommendations for revisions and edits, as well as assist staff with presenting those update recommendations to the Public Works Council for final approval.
 

The Public Works Council approved the Public Works Construction Standards North Central Texas, Fifth Edition in October 2017. NCTCOG is sincerely appreciative of all of the public works professionals who provided their invaluable time and expertise in the review and production of these specifications.

The Public Works Construction Standards are intended to be dynamic in nature. They are meant to be continually updated, supplemented, and improved. NCTCOG will periodically conduct reviews and refinements of the Standards.
